For these illustrations, I was asked to visualize the movements and tools needed to explain basic pilates exercises so that they could be compiled into ready-to-use cards. I was asked to work with traditional technique and then integrate the writings digitally.

“Never underestimate Popular Wisdom”

For these illustrated healthy proverbs, I chose a traditional drawing technique—pen on paper—paired with delicate and subtle digital coloring. I enjoyed the idea of interpreting these proverbs with a vintage touch and highlighting the irony and grotesque spirit typical of popular culture through the illustrations.

“Health comes from eating“

For this project, I was asked to find and illustrate 12 healthy and seasonal recipes from the Italian tradition. I therefore proposed using watercolour on paper to recreate a Vintage style reminiscent of old illustrated cookbooks with a modern touch in the graphic layout.
